You Know You Read/Watch Too Much Creepypasta When…

I compiled this list over time since I've read so many creepypastas (mainly on here) and listened to readings on YouTube. I know it's cliche, but I did that on purpose as reference to the creepypastas that inspired me to compile this list. Having said that, I'm not that good a writer in cases like this. So, given the less-than-supportive feedback I got for my last submission (which I wish would be unlocked so I could go back and re-input the heading for the pasta itself), I'm not holding my breath for any positive comments on this one. Rated for mild language.

Reasons Why

1. When someone says "Go to sleep." you think they might be Jeff in disguise.
2. You lock all the doors and windows before going to sleep because you think Jeff might break in.
3. You refuse to eat cupcakes because you think they might be made from Rainbow Dash.
4. You're afraid to hate Derpy because you think she might blow you up.
5. You avoid going to farms because you think the horses might kill you.
6. You wonder why there aren't ponified versions of all the creepypasta monsters.
7. You avoid stray animals.
8. You never leave your pets alone.
9. You're now scared of clowns because you think they might eat you.
10. You avoid saying the phrase "Spread the word." or any variation thereof because you think Smile Dog might haunt your dreams.
11. You're now scared of Siberian huskies because you think they might be Smile Dog in disguise.
12. Whenever you see hurt children or a collection of apples, you look for Happy Appy.
13. You have your windows covered because you think Slenderman might look in them.
14. Whenever you're walking through the woods, a forest, or driving on a deserted road, you look for Slenderman.
15. Whenever you see someone wearing a hoody or mask, you ask if they're working for Slenderman.
16. You wonder why there isn't more material on Splendorman.
17. You try to avoid laughing at Tails' misfortune and/or feel guilty when you do, or have stopped hating/feeling indifferent about him because you think he might go .exe and kill you.
18. You wonder if the Tails Doll's real, but are too scared to try to summon it.
19. You're now scared of Sonic and/or Amy.
20. You refuse to have anything to do with franchises that have had creepypastas made about them – especially "Super Mario Bros.", "Pokemon", "The Legend of Zelda", and/or "My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic".
21. You refuse to play video games that have had creepypastas made about them.
22. You play video games that have had creepypastas made about them just so you can try to recreate the events in said creepypastas.
23. You only play hacked video and/or computer games.
24. You refuse to play blank video game cds and/or cartridges.
25. You never open .exe or .avi files.
26. You never buy unbranded merchandise.
27. You never buy anything off eBay.
28. You never buy anything that's been the subject of creepypasta.
29. You refuse to stay at a hotel because you think it might be a portal to Hell.
30. Whenever you see a naked man off in the distance, you think he might be B.O.B.
31. Whenever you smell sulfur, you think B.O.B. might be nearby.
32. Whenever you hear growling and/or heavy breathing, you think The Rake might be nearby.
33. You refuse to have anything to do with Disney.
34. You're either relieved or pissed off that Squidward hasn't killed himself.
35. You avoid watching any scary "Spongebob Squarepants" episodes.
36. You never say "You should not/shouldn't have done that."
37. You randomly check to see if inanimate objects are following you.
38. You're now scared of teddy bears and/or dolls.
39. You think dolls from the Barbie franchise could be real people.
40. The childhood fears of the dark and/or the boogeyman/closet monsters have resurfaced.
41. You have to have something next to you for comfort/protection when you sleep.
42. You have creepypasta-related nightmares and wonder if Hypnocil exists in the real world.
43. You avoid saying the word "bang" because you think your finger might be loaded.
44. Anything involving pirates reminds you of "Candle Cove".
45. "Star Fox 64" reminds you of the beginning of the original "Obey the Walrus" video.
46. Anyone with polio reminds you of Johnnie Baima.
47. You obsessively check your floors for multicolored shards of glass.
48. You avoid going down into trap doors or storm shelters, because they might lead to a cave full of serial killers.
49. You get nervous around people wearing white hoodies, especially ones with long black hair.
50. You wonder why there are so many Spanish readings of English creepypastas.
51. You wonder why "lost episodes" such as "Squidward's Suicide" never aired.
52. You research everything you can about creepypastas.
53. You draw inspiration from other creepypastas for your own work.
