Yoshi's Hell
My name is Ross. When I was 6 something really creepy happened to me. And, I will be happy to tell the story. One day, I was out with my parents because they promised me that they would find me a new game for my Nintendo 64. I found this guy looking down on the floor holding a Yoshi's Story cartridge; he gave it to me for free. And, he told me to be careful with this game cartridge. I couldn't really tell what game it was because the label was off. What was really weird was that it was covered with dry blood. But, I thought was just a prank someone was pulling. So, I asked my parents to drop me off to home. So, when I arrived home. I quickly went to my room and put in the cartridge in my Nintendo 64. So, when I saw it was Yoshi's Story, I was so excited because Yoshi was my most favorite character in the Super Mario series. So, I picked Story Mode and it was skipped to Stage 3 for some unknown reason. When, the Yoshi selection screen was on, there was only Green Yoshi. So, I picked Green Yoshi because he was the only option. When I started playing there was something wrong, I couldn't move. I went to the Nintendo 64 to turn it off. Then, a Japanese message popped up, I couldn't understand what it said. I opened my laptop to translate what it said. On the translator it said "Please, don't turn it off, please!" I was scared and I didn't know what to do. I went back to my bed and the game started to move Yoshi all by itself. Then, He stopped. He started becoming transparent. And, his eye fell off. He didn't have legs, so, he was just floating. I closed the Nintendo 64 and I went downstairs for a break. I open the TV and I saw a colorless Yoshi. I was scared; every time I changed the channel it showed the same image. Then, I heard knocking at the door. I was scared, I kept saying "Who is it?" But, no one would answer.
When I opened the door, I found the same guy that gave me the cartridge. He was just standing there holding a Nintendo 64 in his hands, I kept saying "What's wrong" he didn't answer me. He said "あなたは私を助けなければならない" I didn't know what he said so I tried to translate it on my phone, It turned out he's saying "Help me" so I replayed "How can I help you?". He didn't answer that question so I ran to my room. I started my Nintendo 64 again it was that Yoshi again looking at me saying "私はそれをオフにしないことを言った!" I didn't understand that when I looked at my Nintendo 64 all covered in blood I was scared yet sad because my favorite game done all that. I went on my laptop to translate it didn't start when I looked in the battery it was covered all over with blood. So, I went to my parents room and took my mom's laptop and I translated what he said, after knowing he was mad by saying "I TOLD YOU DON'T TURN IT OFF!!!" then a crying kid picture pooped out in my screen saying "私は私の話を教えてくれます" I translated that he said "I will tell you my story" I held on my Nintendo 64 controller when I felt something so I looked on my hand it was covered with blood so, I threw the controller away. I went down stairs and washed my hands and went back to my room. Then I took a new Nintendo 64 controller, he started telling his story "私は私の母は私を呼んでいたときに、あなたが今プレイしている同じゲームをプレイする私のベッドに横たわっていた、私が誤って私はすべてのカートリッジの上死ぬと出血を引き起こして私の首を破るベッドから落ちた" I was confused I didn't understand anything I tried to translate it on my mom's laptop, but it was covered with blood too, I was wondering "How/Why is this happening to me" then the Yoshi popped again crying and yelling every time I get near the off switch it gets louder and louder I went down stairs really fast, I found my door knocked down. I went outside and I found no one. I went back in and I found a drawing of that Yoshi on the wall saying "あなたの次の" I looked it up my phone it was "You're next!" I was walking back slowly when I bumped into a statue. I ran back into my room, I closed the door; I found a note written in English saying "Welcome to hell, my hell". I tried to open my door. But, I couldn't, it was locked. I turned around I saw another note on the cartridge itself.
I picked it up, it was English too. I read the note. It said "There's no escape from my hell". The Nintendo 64 started shaking, my old controller started to feel really hot. I was freaked out. Then, that Yoshi popped out of the screen. Holding lots of notes saying different things. Then, everything was back to normal. The door was unlocked. I opened it and went downstairs. I found two statues of that Yoshi and the 2 statues had a note. The first note said "You're Next". The second note said "There's no escape in the Yoshi's hell". I started shivering in fear and my face turned red. When I was walking back slowly, I slipped on blood that was on the floor. It had a picture of the kid. When, I flipped the picture, it said "R.I.P. Yoshi 1993 - 1999". I freaked out and burned the picture. I went up to my room. I found the cartridge floating in the air. When, I tried to put it down it shocked me and made me faint for 5 minutes. When, I woke up, I thought this was all a dream and all that never happened. I opened my drawer where I keep my games. I was checking all the games that were there. I found one game that had no box. When, I picked it up. It was that haunted cartridge. After that, I knew that all this wasn't a dream. I put it in my Nintendo 64 and started playing. When, I went to the final boss. It goes to the first level. So, I kept playing and playing and it never reset. When, I made it to the final boss. The final boss was that kid Yoshi. So, I paused the game. I went outside to breathe some fresh air and I found that same guy that gave me the game. He was digging a hole. It had a Nintendo 64 and an empty Yoshi's Story box. And, the tombstone had said "R.I.P. Ross ???? - 1999"
I was so shocked that my end would be like that. I ran back to my room, I un-paused the game and I started beating the final boss. After, I won the screen went black and it had a text saying "Thank you, you saved me!" I replied "You're welcome?". After that, the game closed. When, I tried to open it, it didn't work. Then I found a note behind me. "That was fun keeping you in my hell" So, I went outside, I saw my parents car I freaked out, because my house was a mess. So, I went in my room for a minute. Then, came out, everything was finally back to normal.
So, the next day, My parents and I went out like we usually do. I found a kid who was begging his parents to get Yoshi's Story. So, I walked up to the kid and gave him the cartridge, and I told him "Never give it back to me, again." and I ran away to my parents and asked them to go home. And, at that night I never bought another Nintendo 64 game ever again.
