Why Sonic R
It all starts with a boy. A sonic fan boy who lived and breathed Sega. His name was Jimmy. He wasn’t the only fan boy around. He had a best friend named Marty. They were always playing sonic checking updates, seeing if there are new games and buying sonic props. They were both old school. So they liked the new stuff, but they always liked the classics more. It was the day that sonic generations came out. They were at GameStop at the midnight opening. They weren’t supposed to be there. They both snuck out of their house to be one of the first ones to play it. They were one of the first in line. Just as the store was opening. I heard the call of a scruffy man calling for jimmies name. Jimmy and Marty both turned as white as a ghost. It was jimmies father. Jimmy instantly tried to explain. Marty didn’t bother because there isn’t really an explanation fore know there wasn’t an explanation. The ride back to jimmies was silent. When we got home he yelled at both of us and tolled jimmy he was grounded from any video games. Jimmies dad couldn’t get hold of Marty’s mother so Marty was going to sleep in Jimmies room. Marty was lying on the floor with a sleeping bag when he saw jimmy looking through his closet. Marty asked him what he was doing. He said he was trying to find a game system that his father hadn’t taken away. Then he pulled out an old dusty box that said DON’T in black marker. They didn’t know what that meant and they didn’t care. They opened it and found a Sega Saturn. Wile Marty hooked it up Jimmy tried to find a game. Jimmies eyes grew saying MARTY YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS!!!! He got up to see what the big deal was. He said have you heard of sonic R before. They were shocked that they didn’t know about this because of how much of fan boys they were. It caught there interest so they played. Using their former skills from sonic games they cruised through. They collected all four coins on all four maps to unlock all characters. The tails doll character somehow intrigued them. They never heard of such a Character before. They also noticed that playing as the character in the game was very difficult. So Jimmy made a bet with Marty that he couldn’t beat all of the robot characters and the supersonic in a tag match playing as the tails doll. Marty took the challenge and beat it on his seventh try because it wasn’t easy. Right after he did it the screen froze and it kept playing the music can you feel the sunshine. Jimmy asked if he had broken it. He really didn’t know until the screen went static. They didn’t know what was going on. The TV just switched to a picture of the tails doll crying. They didn’t know what to think. Then it started crying blood. It said in a double layered demonic voice WHY KILL THE SUNSHINE KILL THE SUNSHINE KILL THE SUNSHINE. Then it stopped its rambling and looked directly at the two boys. By know they are both struck with fear. It looked at them with anger regret and sorrow. It finally spoke again saying why DO THE YOUNG ONES HAVE TO BURN. Jimmy was scared and fed up. He makes a desperate attempt to shut off the game system. The screen is still on the tails doll. But he is not crying anymore. He seemed to be angry that he attempted such a thing. The tails doll let a violent scream saying TO THINK I WAS GOING TO LET YOU LIVE. Marty was flippant cursing at for making him do such a stupid bet. He yelled back saying IT’S OVER. Marty told him to put away the game system before his dad finds out. He put it away then they went to bed. Marty was half asleep when he saw a red gem glowing in the closet. Marty turned away from it still thinking about that doll. He started to hear a weird laugh. He asked jimmy if he heard anything. Jimmy was asleep. Then Marty herd a whisper saying YOUKNOW CURSING WONT HELP YOU WERE YOUR GOING. Marty got up and ran as fast as he could. He didn’t know if he was crazy or if he was going to die so he didn’t take a chance and ran, but as he was running he stumbled and saw it. It was just like how it was just like in the game except the blood running down its cheeks were now dried up and dark. He saw a glimpse before he came outside. He was breathing hard, crying and scared for his life. He stayed outside in the cold weather until dawn he felt at ease that day time was coming around. He decided to go back in. He checked jimmies fathers room and it was fine. He walked in to jimmies room and everything looked to be fine. He decided to finally get some sleep when he heard the song CAN YOU FEEL THE SUNSHINE. Fear struck his heart again. He looked at the TV and saw the doll again. He started crying saying why are you doing this!!!! The doll replied, YOU MADE ME ANGRY LAST NIGHT MARTY, HOW WAS THE WEATHER? Marty said leave please I didn’t do anything. IT just laughed and laughed and said IF ONLY YOU COULD SEE ANOTHER DAY. Marty was sobbing, and then Marty saw nothing but blackness. Jimmy woke up at 8:00 in the morning and looked at the TV and his jaw dropped. The system was hooked back up and he saw his friend Marty crying blood with his eyes as black as darkness. Marty was screaming STUPID BET STUPID BET. Marty looked at jimmy from the TV with pure HATRED and said YOUR BURNING WITH ME.
The parents of these children after years decided to give away their belongings to a girl named sienna that just happen to notice sonic R in a dust box.
