TykeTron.avi aka Dedbot
TYKETRON.AVI
Original Characters and Setting by Homor
Story by Willow "Candy" Giovanni.
Its been five days, four hours, twenty one minutes, and four seconds since I have seen the video. I am specific in this because of both my condition from birth (aspergers) and because of ...well, you'll see. You see my aspergers never used to be this bad until THAT day. That is, the day I saw a rather infamous video thought to be mere internet rumor. I say this to any reader who has any in depth knowledge of the Gary Gears franchise, far more knowledge than the more casual members of the fandom: tyketron.avi is REAL. I know this because I was one of the few who saw the episode, in studio, before its cancellation. You have more than enough reason to be skeptical but I urge you to humor me for just a few minutes of your time as I recollect the rather traumatic experience. I hope that by doing this, I can persuade the hardcore fans of the series from searching for the episodeor even mentioning it to the casual (and god forbid adolescent) viewers. Well, I've got only a little time left so I'll try to make this quick.
As I said before, it was five days, four hours, twenty one minutes, and now nine seconds since I have seen the video. Believe it or now, I was good friends with the series creator, known only by his alias as Homor. Several times he had comissioned me for Gary Gears promotional and crossover art to the point where I became almost an occasional member of the GG staff. Thus it wasn't unsual for Homor to ask me to drive up to the studio and act as a consultant on the latest episodes. After all I lived only four point six miles away from the place.Tyketron.avi was one such episode, scheduled to air this week and Homor wanted make sure any animation errors in the episode were sorted out.
Upon arrival at the studio, I was greeted by Homor and several associates of his who were all part of the animation staff. After a few pleasantries (you know, hello, how are you? etc) we quickly made our way into the screening room because Homor wanted to make sure the episode went off without a hitch. I would later hear from an associate of mine who worked within the studio that earlier in the week, Homor had been chewed out by several Cartoon Networks for last week's fiasco (one of the episodes had an animation error making one of the characters, Susan Sprocket, crosseyed. Fans on tumblr thought the episode was mocking the mentally disabled and a subsquential petition had reached over 12 signatures). The fallout had sent Homor into a breakdown in which he boarded himself up in the office and played Saints Row for almost a whole day. This is besides the point whoever, what matters here is what occured five days, four hours, twenty two minutes, and four seconds ago.
The episode started out fairly normal, the opening sequence was normal with Gary Gears flying around on Shade's beloved hoverboard, flying past all his wacky friends and sometimes flashing to scenes of Doctor Tesla's evil robot army. Every typical of a Gary Gears episode. The episode title card however was somewhat extremely realistic white typefont written on a pitch black background.
"It read It Begins/Ends with Deadbot.."
A few of us, myself included, burst into laughter. Though the episode's real title was supposed to "Tyketron" because it was an episode centered on Brain Bot's younger brother, it wasn't unsual for the production crew to make a fake title card as a joke. We saw it as a just a lame joke, but in retrospect I should have paid attention to the narrowing of Homor's eyes as he held his stuffed Kermit plushie closer to his chest. Maybe if I had, what happened five days, four hours, twenty two minutes, and twenty seconds ago wouldn't have occured.
The episode began as every other episode. Gary and his friends were hanging out around school, though the sky seemed slightly more realistic than I remember. Anyway Tyketron and Gary were getting ready to fly on Gary's hoverboard when Brainbot began to object, citing how it was potentially dangerous for Tyketron. Gary was about to reply when the scene cut out and the screen went black for several moments. I was about to jot that down in my notes when suddenly we were treated to the horrifying sight of
Brainbot cradling his younger brother's lifeless bloodied corpse, dripping blood, in his arms. Susan Sprocket was crying while Shades and Donna were trying to comfort Brainbot to the best of thier ability while trying not to burst into tears. The others were mere blurs in the suddenly watercolor background that resembled a bunch of green hills, scattered upon were several golden rings. Gary was the only recognizable figure, his face contorted into a look of utter shame and horror.
"Holy shit" I breathed and looked at the others. They all were just as shocked and horrified as me. This was sick. A sick sick joke done by a sick person. Even Homor was horrified though he had a more knowing look.
Before we could stop it, the scene changed. Donna was crying while the other friends were all sobbing in the background. Shades Silicone was walking dejectedly on to a bus, luggage in hand. "Too many memories man, too many memories." He said before the bus doors closed. There was a close up of Gary's haggard face which grew even more haggard as Donna's screams grew louder. I felt my heart beginning to race and someone behind me was already getting ready to storm out of the room in anger.
The screen had become warped and garbled, though I could make out Brainbot talking to what appeared to Dr. Tesla, despite them being enemies. I couldn't hear what they were saying as the audio was warped and sound like the cries of a thousand bloodied children drowning in a sea of blood. Tesla also appeared to be wearing a SS uniform. A whiteboard behind the two also said phage but the "e" was somewhat obscured by a bloody substance. Several anatomical skeleton models were scattered about the room the two were standing in.
Next, Donna Databanks's room was shown, same as it ever was. Except for the oil that covered the floor and Donna's lifeless body. Evidently Shade's absence and Tyketron's suicide had taken its toll. At this point we all were too shocked to move or otherwise react, only watch in stunned silence. Homor's face was frozen in shame and terror.
The scene changed again, to Brainbot sawing the limbs off of a restrained Doctor Tesla, whose shrieks were the only source of audio. Blood splattered across the ceiling and floor, turning the entire room a twisted shade of red. Every so often, Brainbot would take a piece of flesh and stuffed it into some sort of robotic chassis on an adjacent operating table. While many of the crew were too aghast in horror to move, one of the younger interns ran out of the room and vomited in the hallway. I myself began vomiting profusely as a close up of Doctor Tesla's head showed several maggots crawling and out of his eye sockets. Several of the crew began screaming at Homor who was now rocking back and forth and muttering to himself.
Another scene change, this time a close of Susan Sprocket's tear stained face as screaming for Gary to help her. I felt my heart sank.
The scene changed once more, to Brainbot standing over Susan Sprocket menacingly, his hand having been modified into a sort of electric bonesaw. He was about to slice her open when Gary Gears busted through the window and leveled his blaster at his old friends head. He was crying, begging for Brainbot to listen to reason. At this point the woman beside me started crying even I felt more than a few tears welling up.
Brainbot let out an mournful groan and somehow detached the deadly limb, letting it fall to his side. Gary gestured for Susan to come to his side when suddenly Brainbot whirled around with a buzzsaw extending out from his chest compartment.
Gary shot him. Shot him dead. Susan started to cry but Gary held her close to him, trying to soothe her. I wished this was the end of this disturbing episode. I wanted to leave. I wanted to leave. Several of the other interns were crying. I shot a desperate glance at Homor, who stared at the ground with a shell shocked expression.
The screen flashed red and white, I felt my eyes twitching uncontrollably. All the while there sounded like muffled screaming. The screen flashed back to Gary and Susan, the screaming getting louder and louder. Gary shot up and looked at the door to Brainbot's laboratory.
Gary told Susan to stay put and rushed into Brainbots laboratory, without waiting to reply. She screamed Gary's name for several minutes, her own screaming mixing with that of the earlier screams. I shot out of my seat and began shaking Homor.
"WHY?!" "WHY!?" I screamed. He simply kept staring at the screen while most of his co-workers began pressing every button they could to stop the episode but nothing to seemed to work. The others merely sat watching the episode in agonizing horror. I heard a terrible cracking sound that seemed to permeate throughout the entire room and along with Homor, turned my eyes reluctantly to the screen.
Susan was crying and sitting next to Gary's lifeless body. There was a gaping whole in his chest, surrounded by dark red oil. It was blood. Blood was everywhere. Blood was on the floor, on the walls, on Susan, and all over Gary. Homor began sobbing uncontrollably. "No...not Gary...not my Gary." He sobbed.
I sat back down in my seat, seemingly out of my own volition and watched as Gary's murderer stepped out of the shadows.
It was Tyketron.
Only it wasn't. His chassis was all rusted and splattered with blood red oil while his left leg was nothing more than an sickle blade that scrapped across the ground as he dragged himself closer to Susan Sprocket. In place of his power cell was a yellowish sack of pus that pulsated with unearthly life. His arms were mostly the same was they were in life but the fingers were blood red and dripped blood unto the bloody floor. But worst of all was his eyes. They werent the eyes of a robot, they were the hyper realistic eyes of a human child only with enlarged pupils.
I was about to tell someone to stop the tape when Tyketron opened his mouth and let out a bloodcurdling shriek. I felt something in my very soul die as I fell backwards in my chair from shock. A female intern was convulsing on the floor, screaming whilst the others began trying to eject the tape or otherwise stop the episode. Homor had fled the room but I could hear him screaming in the hallway despite the noise.
"THAT WAS MY TAPE! THAT WAS MY TAPE! YOU WEREN'T SUPPOSED TO SHOW IT!"
At this point, this one was losing conscioussness. I faded in and out of sleep. During the periods I was awake, I could see only the TV screen. The scraping and tearing of metal. The flow of blood and oil. Sprocket's screams of agony being muted by the inhuman shriek of Tyketron...no...Deadbot. Deadbot. I heard its SHRIEK!
And in its shriek, I heard everything. The screaming of Susan as she was torn apart. The gibbering of Brain Bot as his creation turned on him. Gary's body being defiled. I heard it all. Even amongst the din, I could hear or at least imagined myself hearing Doctor's Tesla's voice, presumably him speaking to BrainBot.
"Yes, robots and humans are more alike than the common man thinks. Both are powered by electrical impulses. Robots are ruled by logic and order whilst humans are ruled by the chaos of emotion. But there are exceptions to that rule. Take yourself or Gary for example, self aware indentities capable of emotions such as anger, love, and grief as in your case. In the case of humans, there are sociopaths and autists. One the perfect murderers, unrestrained by emotions while the other is set within rigid thinking, incapable of empathy. Indeed in this modern world autism is on the rise, soon I predict a world where man is more machine than robot, while robot is more living than man. Tyketron will the herald of the autistic master race."
All of this I heard with perfectly clarity, even amongst the screams of damned collegues. Even as I drifted into unconsciousness.
I awoke three days, ten hours, nine minutes, and ten seconds since the incident. I had been rushed to a local hospital to whom the studio paid for all my medical needs.
Later that day, I asked an associate of mine about what happened to the other and more importantly, the tape. I was told that Homor had managed to stop the movie only breaking the fusebox that powered all the machinery in the room. No one in the production crew claimed responsiblity for giving us the tape and Homor would later deny ever saying that the tape was his. He still works for Cartoon Network but has less creative control over Gary Gears from what I've heard. Cartoon Network officially denies tyketron.avi's existence. My fellow consultants and interns, all of them, I would eventually lose contact with, even my really good friends. They became reclusive and began getting into strange activities such as watching public weather warnings for hours on end or drawing disturbing and sexually graphic pictures of various fictional characters. Most of them Gary Gears characters. A lot of relationships ended up being ruined. And what I heard from my last remaining associate before losing contact was the most chilling.
Susan Sprocket's voice actor at the time of the episode was later diagnosed with autism. She had no history of any mental defiencies prior to to this. No history at all.
I too was diagnosed with autism. Full blown autism. And several strange sexual paraphilias I never had before.
I can't sleep, all my time must be spent on the internet. It is an impulse far greater than hunger, thirst, or sex. Of course I occasionally try to get sex, but everyone who I want to fuck just looks at me like I'm some sort of freak. Like I'm the one at fault. Stupid fucking normals. They don't get the internet. They don't get Gary Gears. Or Doctor Who. Or My Little Pony. They mock me for my fashion. They don't really how I pull off fedora. They just repeatedly talk about things like "sports", "fun", and "love". Who needs love. God I want to cut them up so bad. Them and anyone else who thinks the real world is better than the internet. They who think friends are worthy anything. They who mock me in online forums. They who call me a loser online. They who mock my digital art.
They who mock my blogs. They who mock my fetishes and my lifestyle and mixing of thereof. They on 4chan, ED, 888chan, and everywhere else where they mock true creativity. True creativity is squandered by love and emotions. Things of chaos and change.
Change is never good. Things should never change. Everday spent experiencing something new prevents me from posting online, from writing stories about tearing little girls like Susan Sprocket to pieces and raping them while they act as living furniture for my Gary Gears original characters, Chris Magnotta Stiles the Fox or Reson X.
Oh god...Its happening again.
Over time this on-... I have found it hard to get out of my room. Or any room with a computer in it. I haven't eaten or drank anything in days yet somehow I'm still alive. I can only conclude that the power of Deadbot or rather this form of...autism is the only thing keeping me alive.
I have the barrel of the pistol pressed against my temple. I must do it after I send this message otherwise it will be too late.
It has been five days, four hours, twenty eight minutes, and five seconds and this one still hears the shriek of Deadbot.
This one still hears the shriek of Deadbot.
This one still hears its shriek.
This one still hears its shriek.
This one still hears its shriek.
This one still hears its shriek.
This one still hears its shriek.
This one still hears its shriek.
