PsykopathE
this was from a journal I found in my home. Discarded in a drawer, I thumbed through it and found them to be eerie. Please advise that these aren't for the squeemish, or the faint of heart...

I remember a lot of the video games that came out during my youth. Growing up around the times of 1999 were harsh since I remember clear details of April 20, the day the Columbine massacre happened. Video games, the music industry, the movie industry even were blamed. I had an old video game system, which has been lost since I was 13. It was just three years after those events that I got a hold of some video games from a garage sale. I went back to my home and found the usual Nintendo station Mario and Duck Hunter. some old Sega Discs like Night Trap and those godawful music video maker games. Then I found one that was off. It said "PsykopathE" which at first I believed to be "Psychopathe (sy-ko-paith)" but was initially "Psychopathy" Albeit off by a touch due to spelling, it appeared to be a Playstation 1 game. I was able to track down a working one (thanks to Todd, my neighbor's son, who oddly has five of the PS1's) Popping it in, I discovered it to be a type of RPG styled game called PSYCHOSOCIA. It appeared to be an early to mid 90's styled game. I just wanted to see if it worked, and it did.

I played the game, which was odd since there was no company logo nor anything. It just went directly to the opening screen. The game was reminiscent of DOOM and the graphics of THPS. It's a first person gaming platform so we never see the character you are playing as. What was disturbing was how realistic the game's surroundings were. Remember that DOOM WAD, it was reminding me of that with a mix of bad gaming graphics. But the weird part was how creepy it was. There was no music, just the sound of birds tweeting about in the background, sometimes, oddly as I would walk past a painting of a shoreline at night (how romantic right), I could hear the ocean. The character's name is Kley Harris, who is a senior in highschool. His house is almost similar to that of the house from The Simpsons aside the void of furniture, being replaced by wooden crates and a TV. The Kitchen looks almost decrepit, as if the owners of the house just gave up on the upkeeping of the house. The fridge is filled with molded food and milk. The cabinet doors are on their hinges, hanging there almost. The grass in the backyard is similar to that of a trailer park trash. Litter and dead browning grass. Upstairs is the bedrooms. There is a pink door reading "Kassi" and another with a KoRn poster on it, realistic and standing out. I tried to enter Kassi's room but a text message, like the ones from the Gameboy Pokemon games, at the bottom reads "No one is supposed to go in there." So I tried the other bedroom. "Mom and Pop's room. Can't go there, too much bad and not enough good." It's creeping me out so I'm not going to play it at night. Gotta sleep.

Woke up, thought of my ex girlfriend afterwards.
Started the rest of the game. I got to see the inside of this guys bedroom. It's a green shotty carpeted room with one window by a bed. The TV sits on a dresser with the stereotypic clothes hanging out of it. But the weirdest ones is the time stamp. It not only contains hours and minutes but also seconds and it constantly changes every thirty minutes. I entered, it said 1:11:9 (and then a glitch as it kept shifting between 9 and then 8, repeating itself) AM, then it said 6:19:09 AM, then it said 2:28:33. And there is a all too real looking file cabinet on the wall. I try to go near it and I get pushed back, and everything looks a little different. Just small things. A show out of place, TV turned on, etc. And a message appears "I need the key". more to come later on.

I decided to go outside. The streets look horrible. there are children's toys just lying astray, as if something powerful knocked whoever on it off, sending them flying. Broken windows and empty streets. I walked around for a while and noticed addresses. they didnt read as any address to me since all were different numbers. they seemed more like years from my end:
1933
2001
2007
and so on. All of the houses were abandonded, so i didnt dare enter. I just went back inside of my house and walked around into the back yard.
THE BACK YARD:
The backyard has a rusty old swingset, a peeling garage, opened. I entered into it and the lights were unable to see but the sound of dripping, like something dripping from a pipe in a basement. I couldn't see anything so the dripping was unreadable. I left and went into the house again. There were steps, leading down. Something I was sure wasn't there.
THE BASEMENT:
I turn a lightswitch on and boy was that a mistake, the shitty lighting flickers and i only get a glimpse of something interesting. One was a huge spot of red in the corner the moment it came on "Is that fuckin blood?" but before i could answer myself there was no red. a gun turned to be a shadow of something, just odd. The walls are a dark orange, almost brown, and the floors are gray. walking into what i suppose is the living area and i find torn up, shotty, moldy looking furniture
more soon
