Pokemon Red Ghost Bootleg
Author's note: This was my first creepypasta, I know it's pretty bad.
When I was a kid, my dad bought me a Gameboy and 2 games. The two games were Tetris and Pokemon Red. I played Tetris a bit, but Pokemon Red made my childhood. I loved my dad a lot for buying it, but as I finished the game it got boring, so I selled it.
However, a few years later I thought of all the fun I had with it. So I decided to get the game again. I don't know why, but I went to the family I had selled my game to. The mother was nice and pretty, and had 3 kids. The oldest one, who now was 17, was in his room. So I asked the mother if I could talk to him. She said yes, since she didn't know what I was there for. I went into the teen's room. The room was very messy, but I thought that was casual for teens to have messy rooms. But what was weird was that dust was all over the place. There were posters on the walls, but someone had painted on them. Not usual paint, like adding a big teeth to the artist. No, this was weird. There were red tears added on Michael Jackson, Eminem's eyes were missing, and there was a lot of groutesque posters on the walls. The teen was sitting in a chair in front of me. He was staring at me. I asked him if he could show me where the game was, but he just sat there staring.
"No..." he said.
He pulled out the game from a drawer, and showed it to me. Then he threw it on the floor while saying "Take it, take it, take it, take it". When I picked it up, the teen started to scream. Not regular screaming, but a scream that gave me chills. He continued doing that, and suddenly tears of blood ran down his face. He kept screaming while the blood kept pouring. Then... he died. The mother breached into the room and immediatly started screaming. She started vomiting, and screamed to her kids to not come inside.
Later that day I talked to her about the game. She said that every time he played the game he got very angry, and showed hate to his parents. But that only happened 3 days after that he had bought the game. She was sad, since she had lost her first child. I decided to go home.
The next day I was curious to play the game. I saw the teen's save file; his name had been Brad. He had played for 253 minutes. I decided to play on the save file, just for fun. As I clicked "Continue", the screen went white, and the Lavender Town tune started playing... but the tune was different... I heard demonic murmurs in the background... and a screaming noise. I was freaked out, but pressed A. The sprite of Ghost appeard (those you meet in Lavender Town). But the sprite had red, demonic eyes and it's smile was just... Ewwww...
A text box appeard, and it said nothing more than "...". It said that 3 times more, and then it changed to "Your soul belongs to me." Terrified, I pressed A again. It said "You have no soul." I pressed A again. It said the same thing. Over and over again. The demonic noises and screaming got louder, and the music started to fade out... The noises drowe me insane.
Then, suddenly, a picture appeared. A very detailed picture of a child's face, and the rest of the body was missing. The face was groutesque, the child's eyes were missing, and blood had poured out from were the eyes had existed. The noises in the background sounded like children screaming and crying. I immediatly turned off the Gameboy. Terrified, I turned the Gameboy on again.
Everything was normal. I choose "New Game". Then, the Lavender Town tune started playing again, with the noises. Ghost appeared. I pressed A, and a text box appeard. It said "Hi, Dennis". My eyes were wide open. Because Dennis was my name. I pressed A. It said "I know you saw the picture. I know you know about what I did to Brad. You know why I do this?" I could chose between Yes or No. So I chose No. A scream was heard. It gave me chills. A text box appeard. "You abandoned me. I was out there, waiting to get caught. You abandonded this GAME. You abandoned me for money. For your own best. Now pay the price."
About 20 disgusting and freaky pictures flashed on the screen. Very, very detailed pictures. And they were all pictures of dead children. Then the screen went white. And Ghost appeared again, with it's red, soulless eyes. Then... It started to zoom in on the eyes. Closer and closer... The noises in the background were now very loud, but very, very faint in the background I could still hear the Lavender Town tune. Ghost got closer and closer... My eyes were sucked into the game... I couldn't take my eyes off Ghost's eyes... Then I heard a voice in my head. Faint, but still clear. It was not an ordinary voice... An angry and demonic voice... It sounded like the thing that was speaking had been quiet for years, and finally got to speak. It said:
"You wanna get rid of this don't you? Just do it."
A gun appeard on the Gameboy screen. A text box appeard, saying "Tap it". I knew it was a bad idea. So I shouted "NO!!! Ghost! Leave me alone!!!" Ghost appeared, once again. The voice in my head said "Oh, like you left me, eh?! Never!!! I'm so hungry! I WANT YOUR SOUL!!!" I managed to drag my eyes of the screen, and tried to turn off the Gameboy. It was jammed. So I had to continue. The gun reappeared. I tapped the gun. A gun appeared in my hand. When it did, I threw it out of the window.
I took a hammer, and smashed my Gameboy. The Gameboy I grew up with, the Gameboy that I had had so fun with. All was lost. I took out the game card, and threw it out the window. I don't know who owns it today, and the gun... The gun was gone the next day.
I couldn't sleep that night. I kept hearing someone panting in the corner of my bedroom. When I looked there, I saw 2 red, soulless eyes watching me. This kept happening for 2 weeks. After that, it was gone. I assumed that someone had hacked my game. Someone who wanted to put darkness in a kid's game. I still haven't stopped thinking about the pictures. Ghost will haunt me forever.
