Monsters

Nighttime. A miner hurries into the caves. After a few paces, there seems to be a small base of sorts; it had a furnace, a couple of full chests, and a workbench and enough torches to make monsters not spawn. He breathes heavily as he creates a set of flint and steel - a light source. He opens his chest to get a book and flips through his contents; a monster book. As he continues to read, the book starts to emit a yellowish aura. Noticing this, he quickly runs away, his feet touching stone. Soon, he feels ice-cold dirt. Soon, a burst of white light was seen... and quickly disappears. He looks back.
