Leptys the Evil One
Leptys is a supernatural, alien-like being that exists in another plane of existence outside our own. History tells very little about Leptys other than that he is known as "the Evil One" and "the Master of Desire and Chaos".
He is a bizarre yet imposing creature that has three eyes, 2 of them strike fear in those who stare into them, and the third one drives anyone who looks into it into madness, and has 13 tentacles, 2 on his chin, 2 on the top of each of his two hands, and 7 that serve as his legs.
Because most, if not all, of the Evil One's history is lost in darkness, Mankind can nowadays only trace his twisted outline around the shadow he has casted upon the world for centuries. According to Egyptian Text, he once killed the whole population of Mars, reducing the planet to a red wasteland. and according to the Scrolls of Alexandria he secretly led the great city of Babylon to greed and famine which then lead to it's downfall. Every 13,000 years, when the moon is a Red Eclipse, Leptys comes into our world to wreak chaos for 13 days and 13 nights, because he is a check against human corruption, whenever mankind's societies become too thriving every 13,000 years, a sacrificial ritual is required to summon Leptys into our world so he could destroy said societies and thus the balance is restored. Then when 13,000 more years have passed, the apocalyptic cycle begins again.
A special chant must be made during the ritual. "Aumento, maligno Leptys, Ascensão e Prosperar!" In translation the chant means, "Rise, Evil One Leptys, Rise and Thrive!"
Leptys doesn't always bring chaos to the universe by himself, he happens to have 7 powerful minions to help him with his apocalypses. These otherworldly minions are named after the Christian Seven Deadly Sins: Lust, Gluttony, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Anger, Envy and Pride. Lepty's seven minions are oftentimes associated with the ritual that brings their dark master into our world.
Because of Lepty's evil reputation and immense power, those who know of the Evil One greatly fear him, and dread of the day he will come back to spread darkness and ruin over the heavens and the earth once more.
Unfortunately for us, it's been 13,987 years since his last visit.
Which means we have 13 more years left...
