I Saw It!
It was the middle of May, 2012. My mother went to a rented cabin, and considering she was single, she had no one to go with and I was 20 at the time so I could stay home six days. My father died ten minutes before I was born. But when she had returned, she was four days early and her usually talkative personality was ceased. It was quite different to not hear her soothing voice. I soon went online and searched up the cabin, and it wasn't exactly what I would call "Luxury Vacation".
I could see wood was not in the best of shape, but it was a cheap getaway. But in the picture, there was a tall humanly, shaped figure in the background. It made the house almost invisible, it stood out like a sore thumb. About two hours later into the day, I asked my mother what made her leave the cabin so quickly. She insisted not to speak of it. Three days that went by faster than you can say "Yippy!", I got the guts to tell my mother I was gong to that location, independently.
She started to bawl in tears. She begged me to stay, she demanded me to stay, and she started to get physical with me. I had to run from her. I snatched the key to my car and had hopes I could make it to my car before she caught up.
My legs saved me. It took four seconds to start my car, I floored it! I heard her angry cries of rage. I was relieved.
It took me two hours to get there. There was what looked to be a house. I entered, and there a middle-aged man with a smile covering his face. He asked what exactly I needed. I said I needed to rent a cabin for one day. Was quite cheap, forgot the price though. I told him to have a nice day, he said the same. I entered my car and started the engine.
It was only two minutes before I found my cabin. I took a glimpse inside once I exited my car. I saw it was a bit dirty in there, but I didn't mind. I went inside andI knew it had little maintenance. I could still smell the bacon from when my mother had cooked here.
Yet it felt surprisingly comfortable. I peered out the window and saw the woods behind my house, I could still imagine that figure, but this time it felt real. I swear it was there. I soon seen it was dark, I soon went into a deep slumber. But, exactly at 12:00 P.M I was awoken by a strange ringing in my ears, I was still groggy when I woke up, I knew it wouldn't help to go outside, but something allured me.
I grabbed a flashlight which was not there before. I soon went outside my cabin, and paced towards the trees, the moonlight was a bit dimmed out. But either way, I could still hear the ringing.
I became more nervous every second, it was suspenseful. As I traveled further, I started to dread for the worst. I saw something tall and thin, it was wearing a suit and tie, which was difficult to see. But what caught my eye was it's face, which was nowhere to be seen.
I flinched when I saw it's head aim at me, I knew I had to run in the direction I came. I bolted like a hawk. Back to my cabin I went. Inside the cabin I went. Bolted to the bedroom, and hid under my covers, afraid.
When I woke up, I almost crapped my pants. I saw it, IT WAS STANDING THERE! I was pale and frozen in fear. It was there, not moving. I heard it whisper,
"Leave..."
So I followed the directions and packed up, leave I did. When I returned home and entered. A shriek came over me, my mother had a thick rope tied around her throat, she smelled horrible. I cried for hours before I found the influence to phone the police.
And since then, I haven't returned.
