Garfield and Friends: Garfield's Hunt
I used to like Garfield. I bought every VHS tape of Garfield and Friends. I bought every plush and figurine. However, that all changed when I saw an unaired episode of Garfield and Friends that scarred me for life.
One day, I was browsing the Internet when I was emailed a link to a mysterious website by an anonymous address. I opened it, and it said, "This is an episode of Garfield and Friends that never aired. It contains intense blood and gore. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!" I thought it was a prank and downloaded the episode. The file was called "lostgarfield.mp4".
It was the normal intro, and then the title card said "Garfield's Hunt" with a picture of a blood-stained Garfield eating meat. Jon was preparing lasagna, and Garfield asked if he could have some. Jon said, "No, Garfield! You eat too much lasagna!"
Garfield got angry and said, "Jon, if you don't make me lasagna in 30 seconds, you bastard, I'll make it myself!" Those words shocked me. This was a kids' cartoon.
Jon replied, "Then make it yourself, Garfield."
Garfield said, "I will." He got a kitchen knife and approached Jon.
"Garfield, what the fuck are you doing?" Jon said angrily.
"Making my lasagna," Garfield said. He killed Jon and sliced him open. He got out a lasagna pan and put Jon's intestines in it.
"Now to get the dough," Garfield said. He went over to Nermal's house. She said, "Hi, Garfield!"
Garfield pulled out the knife. "Garfield? Garfield!?" Nermal said. Garfield dragged him into the woods and skinned him alive. Then he put the skin in the lasagna pan. "Now for the cheese sauce," Garfield said.
He went back to his house and sliced Odie open. He used Odie's blood as the sauce and Odie's fur as the cheese. Finally, Garfield put his creation into the oven. He enjoyed his blood lasagna. Garfield said, "That was good. But it's not enough." He pointed directly to the camera and said, "One day, I'll use you in my lasagna!"
I immediately deleted the file and didn't touch my computer for a long time after that. I had nightmares for weeks about Garfield killing me and baking me into his lasagna.
One day, I heard a knock on my door. I opened it to find that a police officer was standing there. He said that he was investigating a person who makes bootleg cartoons. I thought of the disturbing Garfield episode I had watched. I got out the computer I had watched the episode on and logged in. The only file on there was called "lostgarfield.mp4". The officer and I watched it. The officer said, "What kind of sick person would think of making this?" He transferred the file to a USB drive and kept it locked up tight. It is rumored that another copy of the episode exists in the vaults of ViacomCBS. To this day, no one knows where the USB with the episode is or if any other copies exist.
