Blue Ocean
I used to work for a film company. They usually produced low budget, home movies. Nothing too special. However one day, I happened to be looking through some old tapes we had of old TV shows, and I came across something rather bizarre. It was a VHS tape called 'Blue Ocean'. This struck me as strange, because all the years I worked at that film company, I do not remember use making a TV show called Blue Ocean. I took the VHS and went to the managers office. I knocked on the door, and he told me to enter. The managers name was Bill Herten. "Excuse me sir, I was just wondering about this old VHS tape I found. I-". But before I could finish my sentence, Bill cut me off and swiped the tape out of my hand. "Where the hell did you find this?" Bill asked me angrily. "I-I was just looking through some old TV shows in a cabinet, that was all". Bill seems like he was trying to hide something. (Mind you, it wouldn't be the first time). I asked him what it was. He replied. "I didn't want any of my employees to know about this." He said. "It should have been destroyed. Alright, here goes. 15 years ago in March 1998, this company issued a release date for a new television show. It was to be broadcast the following month, it was called... Blue Ocean, a sitcom about a group of people stranded on a boat in the middle of the ocean. The show was about there lives and what happened to them." Bill explained. "But then, things got bad." I was left hanging, what other things could he tell me. I tried asking but he said nothing. Bill took the tape and placed it under his desk. I left the office, and went home.
I was so intrigued at this, I wanted that tape. So I decided to sneak into the office, and grab it. When I got back home with the tape, I put it into my video player and watched. There was no menu, it just began. It started with a boat in the middle of the ocean, inside were three people; just talking. They stopped, and turned at the camera, the screen went blood red. The next thing I saw was so shocking I couldn't bare to watch any longer. Blood, drowning's, screaming's... it was pure horror. Why would the company make something like this, then keep it hidden for years? I threw the tape on the floor, and went to bed.
The next morning, I woke up to find the tape was missing. I searched everywhere for the tape, but no luck. Either way, I didn't care. I went into work that day and asked the manager if he had the tape, he didn't. "Where is it?" I didn't know what to say. I couldn't say I stole it. "I took it, sir. It disappeared from my house." Bill stared at me for a few seconds, then began talking. "Well, at least its gone now." He said. After leaving work that day, I realised that it was better the tape was gone. Where could it be though? Who knows, maybe even YOU could find it. All you need to do... is look.
